Welcome to my mission to build the ultimate climbing bucket list – a list of climbs to accomplish in your life. Instead just me and a few of my friends coming up with our opinion of the ultimate bucket list, I thought it would be better to get input from the entire climbing community. This will allow us to both drill down on a local level to climbs that we may not be aware of, and get into the mindset of what climbs our community really values.

Contribute
You can contribute via several ways. The best way is through Twitter using the hashtag #climbingbucketlist, but you can also add here on the site through the contact form on the About page. On the Suggested Climbs page make sure to vote for the climbs you want on the final list. I will update the page with suggestions as frequently as I can.

Rules
There are few rules to this bucket list. I want the want the climbs to be accessible to most climbers. We’re not making a wish list here, we’re making a bucket list. Rock climbs shouldn’t be harder than 5.12/V6/7b. I’ve seen a few other climbing bucket lists where The Mandala V12 is listed. Sorry, but you can keep that for your own personal bucket list. Same with super hard mountain routes like the North Face of Mt. Alberta. If you can’t hire a guide to get you up, then it’s out.

I look forward to curating a global, diverse climbing list for us all to enjoy.

Cheers,
Rob Arthurs
